Now locate/browse to the folder 'WINXP' you created.5.Next and you will come to 'Presets', ignore this and click 'Next'.6. In 'Task Selection', choose 'Drivers' and 'Bootable ISO' by high-lighting them.7. For intel select single driverFor amd select multiple driver8. For intel Browse to the SATA driver folder which you extracted earlier(I named it 'Floppy32Bit') and select either one of the.INF file, i suggest 'iaahci.inf'.-for amd browse to raid 7xx, slect x86 and select the inf files.SELECT ONLY x86.9) A screen like below will pop-up, make sure it's 'Textmode driver' and select all of them by holding CTRL+A key and choose 'OK', the pictures below for intel installation.If you arrive at this step for installation its similar for both amd and intel.10) You shall see something like this.
Choose 'Next' and you will be prompted.11) Choose 'Yes' to start the process.12) Let it finish and choose 'Next'.13) Finally, you can create your project as ISO image or burn it directly to CD-R under 'Mode'. Choose 'Direct Burn'. You can put anything for 'Label' but not too long.
Choose 'Burn' and you will be prompted again. You can also choose to create iso to burn using software such as nero.14) Choose 'Yes' to burn it to CD-R. Wait for it to finish and choose 'Next'15) Choose 'Finish' to exit nLite.Additional notes.-If your slipstreaming process unsuccessful, you can repeat the process but create a new folder and DO NOT USE THE SAME FOLDER. Try using different XP cd, avoid using special edition like Black edition, ice edition, the best is windows XP SP2.4. After you format your partition, if you did not do it carefully and reformat the partition contain windows 7. You cannot boot to windows 7 coz it gone, and you need to reinstall windows 7.5. Ok now here some options you have:-reformat your PC with Windows 7-Try installing windows XP.if you choose install windows 7 it would be easy for you to do it, i know.-If you want to install windows XP, Download this sata driver:delete all folder you use to slipstream and run the process again using new folder.
Remember in step 8 only choose AahciX86, do not choose multiple. AnonymousHi Black-X,I finally found a solution, it may sounds silly but I've tried this method several times after I realized it accidentally. Here are the methods used for others who might have encountered the same problem as I am.1. On first attempt of windows installation, proceed until the agreement form appears(the one with checkboxes to tick on 'I agree to bla bla bla').2. Tick on 'I do not Agree bla bla bla' and windows will prompt user that it would cancel the installation, just proceed and ends the installation.3. System will reboot and then only proceed to install back what you had left just now.
Finish the installation until it reboots again.4. No BSOD anymore.:DCheers! There are no sata driver for nvidia in this post which especially important for CQ60 model.3. There is no guide in this post integrate SP2 and SP3 pack during the slipstream process.So, i can add instruction for both of you in the instruction above, but to make the post more effectively i will compose different post for AMD, Intel and Nvidia slipstream guide.So, not to disappoint both of you to wait for the post, you can read original post form the Nlite website(the one who release this software) and there are also many discussion that may be useful for you:apologize in advance. AnonymousIf you don't want to use a DVD-R or CD-R(re-writable) to burn your disk on, save the iso on your Desktop after you have created it with NLite. Go to download.com and download EasyBCD, Once installed go to Add Entry(or whatever) Go to the bottom box and find your iso(You know what to do with the dropbox.) Now click the Add Entry button and wait for it to be added to your boot manager.
Once this is done go to the File tab at the top left corner of the application, and click Exit(Or save and exit.IDK) Now restart your PC and go to Neosmart ISO Entry and install like you would with a disk. Hope I helped some people that don't have enough money for CDs;D.
